what we do
When you buy a book or a keepsake box (or other handmade products, 100% of the proceeds are donated to Scouts USA. Most of the time, the funds go to an endowment fund to assure boys and girls will have camping facilities to enjoy and experience. None of the funds goes into my pocket (well, it does for a while until there's enough to send to Scouts BSA).
the books
I belonged to Boy Scouts in the late 1950s and reconnected in 1983. Funny, but the dumb stuff we did as kids and adults in the 1950s are the same dumb things kids and adults do today, except without a smart phone. These are our stories. Mostly fiction, but based in truth.
Keepsake boxes
I handmake keepsake boxes for Scouting memories (or other memories), desk caddies to hold "stuff", and other wood products, such as cutting boards, small tables, lamps, step stools, cribs, bookcases, and the like. I only use hardwoods, and most have natural imperfections that add character to the wood. No two pieces are exactly alike, and I will custom make something special if that's your wish.
