Famous Reindeer Education Enterprises, LLC is the successor to Seaver Rudolph & Associates, Inc, the successor to Seaver & Associates, Inc., the successor of Policy Holders Counsel, founded in 1898 to provide advice and counsel to insureds.
Originally, we provided only advice on the financial soundness of insurance companies who issued policies to our clients. Over the years, this changed from only financial surveillance to encompass general risk management advice and insurance advice.
Quite simply, we were too good at our jobs. Many consultants appear to create more problems to justify their continued services, but we actually tried to teach our clients how to do the work we did. Our largest clients (think Fortune 1000 list) took our services inhouse, leaving us with only a small book of small clients. By then, we were ready to retire. Sadly, Seaver passed away, and Rudolph decided to close down Seaver Rudolph & Associates and pursue a new career writing risk management curriculum and educating the insurance industry participants plus have a little fun writing and making stuff.
